Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary R&D team covering mechanical, electrical, electronic and software engineering, developing products for international clients.
Product development from concept through to manufacturing.
Hands-on prototypingand testing.
Generate 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings.
Create and own design documentation.
Liaising with manufacturers for prototyping and design of production tooling.
Use your knowledge of mechanical design to solve R&D problems.

Desirable Skills
A graduate of automotive, mechanical or aeronautical engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (injection moulding, machining, 3D printing etc. )
High attention to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision to tight deadlines.
Experience in 3D CAD software, ideally Solidworks.
Understanding of mechanical materials and their processing.
Finite Element Analysis and simulation, along with solid mechanics experience.
Knowledge of dynamics and kinematics especially related to rotating machinery.
Knowledge of turbomachinery, such as compressors, propellers and fans.
Ability to model heat transfer and cooling systems of electrical machines and electronic assemblies.
